Description

Spyderco C95GPBBK2 Manix 2 XL Black

Spyderco’s Manix 2 XL is a larger, even more capable expression of our iconic Manix 2 design. Now its impressive cutting power is available in an ultra-corrosion-resistant format as a member of our acclaimed Salt Series. The broad, leaf-shaped blade of the Manix 2 XL Salt is crafted from Crucible Industries’ CPM MagnaCut—a remarkable particle metallurgy steel that challenges conventional steelmaking wisdom to deliver an impressive synergy of toughness, edge retention, and extreme corrosion resistance. Optimized for tactical applications, the blade is cloaked in a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating to reduce its reflective signature. It is supported by a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism housed within a handle featuring full skeletonized stainless steel liners and black G-10 scales. The scales are both peel-ply-textured and machined with our signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for an ultra-secure grip. To complement the DLC-coated blade, this knife’s liners, reversible tip-up pocket clip, and all other hardware are also made from ultra-corrosion-resistant materials and have low-profile black coatings.

Spyderco

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1981, the Glessers put down roots in Golden, Colorado and introduced the first Spyderco folding knife. That knife pioneered the concept of a round hole in the blade for one-handed opening, a clip on the handle for carry at the top of the pocket, and the option of a serrated edge for aggressive cutting performance. Since then, Spyderco has steadily grown to become one of the leaders in the cutlery industry. In addition to a worldwide distribution network and manufacturing resources in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China. Those Who Know, Carry Spyderco.
