The ESEE Model 5 is a hard-use survival and tactical knife designed by military SERE instructors for downed pilot and survival scenarios. With a 0.25″ thick 1095 high-carbon steel blade, this large fixed blade is built for extreme toughness, durability, and practical performance in demanding environments.
The 3D machined G10 handle provides an ergonomic grip superior to traditional slab Micarta scales. Additional features include spine jimping for enhanced control, full tang construction for maximum strength, a lanyard hole, and a glass breaker for emergency use.
Each Model 5 comes with a Kydex sheath, clip plate, paracord lanyard, and cord lock for versatile carry options. Made from high-carbon steel, proper care is essential to prevent rust and staining—especially on the cutting edge and around laser engravings. Use a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH to maintain optimal performance.
