Description

Spyderco FB35PBK ARK “Always Ready Knife”

The Spyderco ARK is an ultra-compact fixed blade designed by U.S. Army combat veteran John Shirley and his friend Sam Owens as a personal-defense tool for military personnel. Built to be carried at all times, the ARK is exceptionally lightweight and designed for secure neck carry.

Its blade is crafted from H-1 steel, a nitrogen-based alloy that is completely rust-proof, making it ideal for maritime environments, sweaty carry, or any conditions where corrosion is a concern. The blade features a curved profile with a sharp point optimized for last-resort defense.

The handle is made from FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) with bi-directional texturing, ensuring a positive grip despite the knife’s small size. The package is completed with a molded Boltaron neck sheath for discreet carry.

Spyderco

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1981, the Glessers put down roots in Golden, Colorado and introduced the first Spyderco folding knife. That knife pioneered the concept of a round hole in the blade for one-handed opening, a clip on the handle for carry at the top of the pocket, and the option of a serrated edge for aggressive cutting performance. Since then, Spyderco has steadily grown to become one of the leaders in the cutlery industry. In addition to a worldwide distribution network and manufacturing resources in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China. Those Who Know, Carry Spyderco.
