Description

Spycerco C141GPCBL Balance Cobalt Blue G10 Spy27 Sprint Run

The Spyderco Balance, designed by Ed Schempp, makes a return as a limited-edition Sprint Run model.  Its defining feature is its downturned, full-flat ground blade made from CPM SPY27 steel, a proprietary stainless alloy engineered for excellent edge retention, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance specifically for Spyderco knives.

In its closed state, the Balance presents a compact, symmetrical profile. When deployed, it transforms into a highly ergonomic tool.  Its unique index-finger choil gives added control, especially during precision tasks.  The handle blends stainless steel on one side (machined into a Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) with a cobalt-blue G-10 scale on the other, giving both function and visual contrast.

Spyderco

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1981, the Glessers put down roots in Golden, Colorado and introduced the first Spyderco folding knife. That knife pioneered the concept of a round hole in the blade for one-handed opening, a clip on the handle for carry at the top of the pocket, and the option of a serrated edge for aggressive cutting performance. Since then, Spyderco has steadily grown to become one of the leaders in the cutlery industry. In addition to a worldwide distribution network and manufacturing resources in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China. Those Who Know, Carry Spyderco.
