Description

Spyderco C10PBK, Endura 4 Lightweight, Black FRN Handle, VG-10 Drop Point Blade

In 1990, Spyderco’s original Endura® helped revolutionize pocketknife design as one of the first lightweight, clip-carry folders. More than 30 years and four generations later, it is one of the most widely recognized knives in the world and still sets the standard for its breed. Current Endura 4 Lightweight models feature handles injection molded from tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) and structurally reinforced with nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners. They include a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip and are also home to a sturdy back lock mechanism and a four-position pocket clip that allows a choice of left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. Endura 4 Lightweights with saber-ground blades offer an excellent balance of strength and cutting performance and are available in several different configurations, all crafted from VG-10 stainless steel. The black-handled versions with satin-finished blades are available in a choice of PlainEdge™, partially serrated CombinationEdge™, or fully serrated SpyderEdge™ formats. The CombinationEdge configuration is also available with a satin finish and a foliage green-colored handle and in an all-black version with a black handle, titanium carbonitride (TiCN) blade coating, and matching black-coated handle hardware.

Spyderco

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1981, the Glessers put down roots in Golden, Colorado and introduced the first Spyderco folding knife. That knife pioneered the concept of a round hole in the blade for one-handed opening, a clip on the handle for carry at the top of the pocket, and the option of a serrated edge for aggressive cutting performance. Since then, Spyderco has steadily grown to become one of the leaders in the cutlery industry. In addition to a worldwide distribution network and manufacturing resources in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China. Those Who Know, Carry Spyderco.
