Description

Spyderco FB01 Bill Moran Bowie Fixed Blade

The Spyderco Moran is a lightweight hunting and utility knife designed in collaboration with legendary bladesmith Bill Moran, the father of the modern American bladesmith movement. Built for balance and control, it features a VG-10 stainless steel blade with a full flat grind, offering excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and slicing performance.

The handle is made from FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon) with a checkered Kraton rubber inlay, providing a secure, non-slip grip in all conditions. Despite its full-size cutting power, the Moran is extremely light and comfortable to carry, making it a trusted companion for field dressing, hunting, or general outdoor use.

Spyderco

Spyderco was founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. In 1981, the Glessers put down roots in Golden, Colorado and introduced the first Spyderco folding knife. That knife pioneered the concept of a round hole in the blade for one-handed opening, a clip on the handle for carry at the top of the pocket, and the option of a serrated edge for aggressive cutting performance. Since then, Spyderco has steadily grown to become one of the leaders in the cutlery industry. In addition to a worldwide distribution network and manufacturing resources in the U.S., Japan, Taiwan, Italy, and China. Those Who Know, Carry Spyderco.
