The protruding diamond grains provide superior cutting aggression compared to stones with organic or metallic bonds, while the 100% grain concentration ensures consistent performance across the sharpening surface. These plates require no preparation, such as leveling or cleaning, and are compatible with a variety of steels, though softer steels (up to 58 HRC) may wear the plates faster than harder steels.
